  \code{is.primitive(x)} tests if \code{x} is a primitive function
  (either a \code{"builtin"} or \code{"special"} as described for
  \code{\link{typeof}})?  It is a \link{primitive} function.

  \code{TRUE} if \code{x} is a (primitive) function, and \code{FALSE}
  otherwise.
}
